Midik's Bomes Template Pack for Ableton Live

This is my XONE:3D Bomes Mouseless template I’ve been using for the last couple of weeks that I made. Its done with the Free Bomes MT version. It will also work for the XONE1D or 2D. I use a PC, so I’m not sure if this will convert to MAC or not.

You’ll Need to Download:

Midik’s Bomes XONE:3D Template Pack <–Right Click & Save As

Pack Contents:

BOMES MT Free Version (http://www.bome.com/)
Midi Yoke (http://www.midiox.com/)
Image of Control Layout
Instructions on setting it all up.

How to get it to work:

Install Bomes Midi Translator (included in DLed Pack)
Install Midi Yoke (included in DLed Pack)
Open Ableton Deactivate your XONE:3D in Midi Sync. Track=Off Remote=Off
Open Bomes
In Bomes choose “Midi In” as XONE:3D Midi
Choose “Midi Out” as Midi Yoke: 1
Go back to Ableton
Turn on track and remote Midi Yoke:1 under Midi Sync in Ableton Preferences
On the Bomes icon in your system tray (by the clock) Right Click and select “Midi Thru”
Go to Bomes and open the XONE:3D Template (included in the DLed pack).
Go back to Ableton and enjoy!

That’s it! You can now use the mouseless nav template. Included in the DL pack is an image of the control layout, or check it out on flicker here >

I’m working on adding a shift button in order to double the controls. I will post a new template up once its finished.

Editing this Ableton Template for a Different Controller In Bomes

Double click on the “Incoming Trigger” you wish to remap to your controller
Check the box “Capture Midi”
Press your midi key, pad, or pot/knob
Select that note from the list
Click apply
Keystroke should now be mapped to your controller
Go to Live, and try it out!

Thats all you need to do for applying these setting to your different controller (Trigger Finger, midi keyboard, ect..). All these keystrokes are for Ableton Live, so as long as you’re using that, you’re good!
